Maglie is a town and municipality in the province of Lecce, in the Apulia region of southeastern Italy. Highlights include: - Duomo (Cathedral, also called Chiesa Collegiata): Built in the late 18th century on the site of two earlier churches from the 14th and 16th centuries. Its bell tower (1686–1690), about 48 meters (157 feet) high, is the tallest in the province; the four upper levels are attributed to Giuseppe Zimbalo. - Church of Madonna delle Grazie: A Baroque-style church (early 16th century) with a 1645 Baroque altar and 17th‑century paintings. It also has a column similar to Lecce’s Column of St. Oronzo by Zimbalo, built between 1684 and 1687. - Church of Madonna Addolorata: An 18th‑century church. - Palazzo Baronale: A historic baronial palace.
